St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute is one of the world's most renowned institutions in the field of pediatric oncology and its activities are largely financed by donations. In order to offer donors a professional and appreciative donation format, an existing process was digitized and semi-automated. The aim was to eliminate manual processes and create a personalized, efficient solution that saves time and enhances the donation process.

The challenge
Eliminate manual effort
The biggest challenge was to digitalize the previously manually controlled donation certificate process. In addition, the solution had to be self-sufficient and flexible enough to meet the needs of both individual donors and companies. Another goal was to significantly reduce the administrative workload for employees while ensuring possible integration into the existing technology landscape of St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute.
The solution
The aim was to create an application that automatically creates and sends personalized donation certificates once payment has been received. This solution should not only minimize the administrative effort, but also offer the donors a professional and appreciative confirmation of their support – in an appealing, digital format.
The value
Fully automized donation process
After a two-week development period, a user-friendly application was presented that fully automates the donation process. Upon receipt of a donation, the solution immediately generates a personalized certificate and sends it along with a confirmation email. The implementation of this digital solution eliminated some manual steps and enabled St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute to thank donors in an efficient and professional way. At the same time, the process was designed to integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
The development hours incurred as part of the project were donated to St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute.
