The challenge
Containex, a provider of containers and modular buildings across 40+ European countries, faced complexities in managing sales and rentals due to uncoordinated internal processes and hefty manual efforts. With varied pricing complexities and high delivery costs, their communication was heavily reliant on email and phone, needing a more streamlined approach for market and departmental processes.
The solution
We partnered with Containex to create a tailored partner portal built on an open-source headless eCommerce system, MedusaJS. The portal provided a unified platform for customers to manage purchases, rentals, and self-service account details, including access to offers, orders, and invoices. Key features included full integration with internal tools, optimizing transport cost calculations, and ensuring region-specific pricing.
The value
The closed-beta launch with select customers in November 2024 saw high adoption and successful order placements, proving the portal’s effectiveness. This approach enabled rapid feedback integration for continuous improvements, culminating in a solution that harmonizes processes, reduces internal workload, and enhances customer experience across the board.
