Download nowAWS EKS in action: transforming Europe’s leading textile provider
Discover how one of Europe’s largest textile providers became more efficient and agile with a new web application built on containers and deployed with Amazon EKS. This solution automatically scales to handle traffic and uses FluxCD pipelines for seamless updates.

The challenge
Our client, a top European textile solutions provider with over 40 locations, needed an application that could handle heavy traffic without crashing, keep users satisfied, and work smoothly for customers across different regions. They faced delays for users in remote locations and struggled with the complicated setup of Kubernetes, a system for managing applications. The solution needed to be reliable, easy to manage, and flexible so their IT team could spend less time on technical issues and more time driving innovation in the textile industry.
The solution
To meet their challenges, we leveraged AWS Managed Services to reduce the day-to-day workload for their IT team. The application is designed to scale during busy times and remain reliable, regardless of traffic spikes.
Computing power: Amazon EKS hosts the app's backend, which is built with microservices and ensures high availability by running and scaling across multiple AWS availability zones. As a managed Kubernetes platform, it leverages tools such as FluxCD for continuous delivery.
Performance Monitoring: With Amazon CloudWatch, the team can easily track application performance through pre-built dashboards. CloudWatch alerts notify the operations team of any anomalies, so issues can be resolved quickly.
Deployment and Orchestration: FluxCD automates app updates using GitOps, which makes deployments fast, secure, and version-controlled.
